🚵♂️ New Boise MTB Trail Guide Just Dropped 🎥
We just dropped a fresh video on our YouTube channel today, and this one’s a good one 👀
In this Boise mountain bike trail guide, we’re riding a super fun loop connecting Chukar Butte, Sweet Connie, and Peggy’s Trail 🚵♂️
This route is a great mix of mileage, moderate climbing, and scenic foothills riding—perfect if you’re looking for a solid cross-country ride with a few exciting moments mixed in.
📍 Route Overview:
We started at the Polecat Parking Lot off Cartwright Road (Peggy’s Trailhead), rode Cartwright over to the Chukar Butte trailhead, then took Chukar Butte to Sweet Connie, which connects into Peggy’s Trail and loops you right back to the cars.

Distance: 12.01 miles
Time: 1:44:00
Elevation Gain: 1,427 ft
Max Speed: 37.3 mph
🔥 Ride Highlights:
• Cleaning the steep climb at the pond on Chukar Butte
• A close call in a rocky technical section 😳
• Fast, flowy sections mixed with some fun technical features
The whole ride was filmed on the Insta360 X5 for a smooth POV experience 🎥
Brian is riding the Scott Genius 900 Tuned, and it handled everything this route threw at it without missing a beat.
Overall, it was an awesome ride and a beautiful morning out in the Boise foothills 🤘
